On Monday May 10th, 2010 at about 3:40pm a young Fergus
female attended to the County of Wellington OPP Fergus station to notify
police of an address change as per probation papers. At this time police
arrested the youth due to an outstanding arrest warrant for breaching
her release papers in February 2010 for a curfew.
Upon the arrest officers searched the teen and located a quantity of
marihuana in her purse.
County of Wellington OPP have charged the 16 year old Fergus female with
Possession of Marihuana contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances
Act. The teen is currently in custody and attending Guelph court on
Tuesday May 11, 2010 for a Bail Hearing.
