(Elora, ON.) -On Tuesday April 27th, 2010 at about 3:42pm County of Wellington OPP received a call from an alert motorist of a possible impaired driver.

County of Wellington OPP officers located the 1998 Chevy GM4 on Geddes Street in Elora and discovered that the driver had been drinking.

Brian Garry Shiell aged 61 of Elora has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. Shiell is also charged with Open Liquor contrary to the Liquor Licence Act, and is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on May 31st, 2010 to answer to the charges.
