On Friday April 16th, 2010 at about 2:00am County of Wellington OPP officers responded to a call of suspicious persons going through some cars in the Bellamy Crescent and Victoria Terrance areas of Fergus.

The County of Wellington OPP are asking if you have had your vehicles entered during this time please contact Constable Mark Grasman at the Fergus office at 519-843-4240.

During this investigation the officers continue to find that owners are not securing their autos throughout the night. Leaving items visible that may entice thieves, or just plain leaving your car or truck unlocked is an invitation for criminals to continue to prowl the subdivisions at night.
