Bones Found April 10, 2010

Web posted on April 12, 2010

On Saturday, April 10th, 2010 at 2:58pm, officers from the County of Wellington O.P.P. responded to a report of found bones near a path opposite Maple Grove trailer park on Highway 7 in Guelph Township. Waterloo Regional Police Service had originally responded to the scene but discovered that it was O.P.P. territory.

A couple had been walking along the trail taking photographs when they discovered the bones in a nearby field and called the Police. Officers examined the bones but weren't able to determine the origin. The Coroner, Dr. John EWEN, was called to the scene and he was able to identify the bones as animal remains.
