Impaired Driver

(Fergus, ON.) -On Sunday January 31st, 2010 at about 1:06am County of Wellington OPP responded to a reported collision on Highway 6 just south of Fergus. Police located the crash near the second line and found that a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer had left the road and went through a fence. Officers spoke with the driver and discovered that he had been drinking.

Kyle C. Thackeray aged 20 years of Walkerton has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada as well as G2 Licence Holder-BAC above Zero under the Highway Traffic Act and Drive with open Liquor under the Liquor Licence Act. Thackeray is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on March 15th, 2010 to answer to the charges.
